two types of rights in the constitution
there are express and implied rights
who interprets the constitution and what can change the constitution
the high court interprets the constitution and it can be changed by a referendum. the high court can not change the constitution.
an example of the constitution being interpreted by the high court
Roach v Electoral commissioner. defender challenged the right to vote because prisoners were denied the right. the high court interpreted section 41 - the right to vote, according to the constitution, everyone has the right to vote, including prisoners
