function of the blood?

A
  • Blood transports oxygen and nutrients, such as glucose, carbohydrate, protein, and minerals.
  • Blood also helps removing waste substances such as carbon dioxide.
  • Blood is made of Plasma, Red blood cells- containing hemoglobin, White blood cells and Platelets.

Q

Pulmonary circuit is also?

A
  1. Deoxygenated blood (carbon dioxide) transported from the right side of the heart to the lungs.
  2. so, remove carbon dioxide then the
    Blood will be oxygenated
  3. Oxygenated blood transported to the left side of the heart.

Q

Inhale process (Take oxygen):

A
  • provide the oxygen from air to the lung (alveoli)
  • the size of alveoli will expand and fill with air oxygen.
  • Oxygen moves from the alveoli into the blood.

The Oxygen will diffuse from the high concertation to low concentration. Then the blood will oxygenate.

Q

Exhale process Remove carbon dioxide):

A
  • Remove the carbon dioxide from your (lung (alveoli)
  • carbon dioxide moves from the blood through capillary into the alveoli.

Carbon dioxide will diffuse from high concentration in the capillary (deoxygenated blood) and low concentration in the alveoli.
