The leader is the Pope. Centered in Rome. There are 7 sacraments and male priests.
What is the Orthodox Church?
Leader is Patriarch of Constantinople. In 1054 the Schism occurred splitting the Roman Catholic church into to divisions - Orthodox and Roman Catholic. Disagrees with the Holy Spirit, Mary and the Pope. 7 Sacraments and Male priests.
What is the Protestant Church?
No leader. New branch made by a reformation in 1517. Disagrees on the Pope, Bible, Prayers for the dead, Mary/Saints. 2 Sacraments;male or female religious leaders.
What is the Church of England?
Leader is the Archbishop of Canterbury/Queen. English Reformation in 1534 by Henry the Eight and Thomas Cranmer. Disagrees with divorce and the Pope. Has 7 sacraments with male or female priests.
