In some instances marriages may not be valid because the couple was not fully committed/ fully understood the requirements for a marriage to be valid 3 conditions apply:
- the couple must marry freely without reservation
- Must love and honour each other for life
- Must accept children lovingly from God

Seperation
A
A married couple is split and may stop living together before getting a divorce. Couple is still legally married.
