Located on the right of the heart, this is where blood enters.
What is the right atrium?
The right atrium passes blood through a valve into the right ventricle.
Where does blood go from the right ventricle?
Blood goes up into the pulmonary artery and through to the lungs.

Describe 2 features of an artery.
An artery has thick walls and a thin lumen.
Describe 3 features of the capillaries.
Their lumen is one cell thick.
This allows for diffusion.
They have a large surface area.
