How did Britain get their empire?

A

War - If Britain won a war against a country, they would have taken over the land.
Settlers - British people would go to parts of the east coast of America and make their settling place part of the British empire.
Discovery - Originally, explorers would find land and claim it for the British empire.
Trade - When British companies went to trade in some places, and slowly took over large parts of land.

a member of a group of English Protestants of the late 16th and 17th centuries who regarded the Reformation of the Church under Elizabeth I as incomplete and sought to simplify and regulate forms of worship.

A

In the first winter most of the people died, then in the spring a tribe agreed to share their resources, in exchange for the Pilgrims to protect the tribe from their enemies. They sailed on the Mayflower, from Plymouth.

A

The punishment for the Rebels were getting sewn into Digo skins, before they were hanged, whilst other were forced to lick the blood of the floor. They were also blown from the barrel of a cannon.
