He was the first Italian person to visit America, it took only 5 weeks, he inspired many people to visit the new world. He brought back large amounts of treasure for the Spanish king and queen, this helped Spain become an even more wealthy and powerful country.
Was Christopher Columbus a Villain?
He enslaved thousands of natives, he treated the natives with no respect at all, he brought disease and that was a devastating factor, he turned the Taino population completely extinct within 50 years.

He was born in 1460 in Sines, which is in Portugal, he had five siblings and he died on the 24 December 1524.
What was Vasco de Gama’s main aim, and his voyages?
His mission was to reach India by going to the east, his Voyages were in Lisbon in 1497, he got to India by sailing around India. He also traded with Arab merchants to get spices.

He was born in 1540 and died in 1596. Francis Drake was the oldest child of Edmund Drake, a farmer from a prosperous peasant family in Tavistock, Devon.

His main aim was to go around the straits of Magellan and he also sailed around the world. He also was the first to circle the globe and he had a pointy beard.

Gaeta, Italy is where John Cabot is From, born 1450 -1500 he had three children.

John Cabot envisioned the possibility of reaching Asia by sailing westward. He had three voyages, his last one was him thought to be dead at sea. He travelled from Bristol to the new found land.

It was a rare soft thingy, and it can be shaped. There is silver as well, gold is very rare.

- The Spanish had a lot of allies.
- The Spanish army spread diseases, and that killed them.
