What were the aims of Wilson in Versailles
— Strengthen international cooperation-less secrets and no more arms race
—Not too harsh- agreed germany should be burnished but not crippled—thought that that would encourage revenge in the future
—Encourage democracy in Germany— hoped it would prevent a future war

Revenge- severely lost in war
Reparations- wanted to weaken Germany so there could be no more war against them, no longer a threat
