Why does the MDP have its 4C’s?

A

To create a foundation for the MDP which covers everything that is expected and needed from an AFOCT. They are also intended to guide us on how we should perform our role and duties.

What does ‘Committed’ mean when relating it to the MDPs 4C’s?

A

Committed - Committed to the role and to performing our duties effectively and promptly. May also be considered as loyalty to the force and our work.

A

Collaborative - Able to work in a team with our colleagues, and when needed to work effectively with other emergency services to fulfil our duties as and when needed.

A

Challenge - Standing up and challenging our own, and others behaviours if their actions or attitude is not in line with our Code of Ethics, Policing Style or Our Purpose (our 4 Cornerstones)
