Norm Referenced Assessment
Measures the accomplishment of one student against that of another.

Prescriptive Test
Test giving a beginning of instruction to determine what students already know
Formative test (Progress)
Ongoing repeated assessment durning a course to evaluate student progress
Maybe quizzes, pop test, or question/ answer periods that are giving throughout course session
Summative test ( Comprehensive)
Evaluation that measures students learning at conclusion of a training session or course.
These test has questions did the students achieved the course objectives
Administration Classification
Based on how test are administered
Oral test
Gives verbal answers to spoken questions durning one one interaction with instructor
Performance Test
Measure students ability to perform skills and tasks as they would on the job.
Test bias
When members of different groups age cultural and ethnic backgrounds gender with the same ability level routinely score differently on a test.
