Fan- works small groups
Traditional- arrangement is applicable to any size audience
Auditorium theater- fixed seating
Conference- total group discussion where limited or no small group activities are required . Small classes where seated around one table
Cheveron- similar traditional but student interaction is limited
Horseshoe or U shape- clear view, Permits both instructor presentation and group discussion. But no small group interaction. MUsed for small to medium sized audiences
Hollow Square- It’s effective for small to medium sized groups and permits both instructor presentation and total discussion
Circle chairs it’s most effective for small to medium sized groups where discussion is primary method of teaching
