Germ cell tumour= 95%
Non germ cell tumour= 5%

What are the types of germ cell tumour and who are they seen in?
A
Seminomatous= 30-40yo
Non seminomatous= 20-30yo, teratoma is most common subgroup

A
1= confined to testes 2= infradiaphragmatic nodes 3= supra diaphragmatic nodes 4= extra lymphatic disease

What are the risk factors for testicular cancer?
A
Infertility= single biggest risk factor Cryptorchidism Mumps orchiditis Klinefelter's FH and PMH testicular cancer

What is the presentation of etsticular cancer?
A
Painless lump= most common
Can be tender/inflamed

What tumours markers are there for testicular cancer?
A
AFP= 60% LDH= 40% bHCG= 20%

Testicular US= first line
Tumour markers

What is the management of testicular cancer?
A
Radical orchidectomy for all
Further treatment dependent on stage= chemo or radio
