Q

Describe hazard division 1.2

A

Contains ammunition which has a projection hazard but not a mass explosion hazard. Blast effects will be limited to the immediate vicinity. The explosion will result in items burning and exploding a few at a time.

Q

Discribe hazard division 1.3

A

Contains ammunition which has a fire hazard and either a minor blast hazard or minor projection hazard or both. But no mass explosion hazard . It includes items which burn with great violence and intense heat emitting considerable thermal radiation and others which burn speradicoly

Q

1.3 can be sub divided into 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 what are they

A
  1. 3.3 is more hazardous 1.3 are bulked packed gun propellant which produce a fire ball with intense radiant heat. Firebrands and some fragments.
  2. 3.4 less hazardous 1.3s that produce moderate fire with moderate projections and firebrands (pyros)
