Test 6 EO Flashcards
What is the old make up of the us lot system
Basic id
Interfix no
Serial no
What is 1.1
Contains ammunition which presents a mass explosion hazard. Which will produce a blast and high velocity fragments
What are the dangerous goods classes
Class 1. Explosives Class 2. Gass Class 3. Flammable liquids Class 4. Flammable solids Class 5. Oxidizing substance and organic peroxide Class 6. Poisiness and infectious substances Class 7. Radioactive substances Class 8. Corrosive Class 9. Misulanious dangerous subs
In regards to naming ammunition What are the 4 parts that make up the name?

What are the country of origins for L M F And what does x mean
L = British M = American F = Australian X = Experimental
Describe hazard division 1.2
Contains ammunition which has a projection hazard but not a mass explosion hazard. Blast effects will be limited to the immediate vicinity. The explosion will result in items burning and exploding a few at a time.
Discribe hazard division 1.3
Contains ammunition which has a fire hazard and either a minor blast hazard or minor projection hazard or both. But no mass explosion hazard . It includes items which burn with great violence and intense heat emitting considerable thermal radiation and others which burn speradicoly
1.3 can be sub divided into 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 what are they
- 3.3 is more hazardous 1.3 are bulked packed gun propellant which produce a fire ball with intense radiant heat. Firebrands and some fragments.
- 3.4 less hazardous 1.3s that produce moderate fire with moderate projections and firebrands (pyros)
What is HD 1.4
Contains ammunition with only a moderate fire hazard which will not contribute excessively to fire. Effects will largely be confined to packaging. No frag of size or range are to be expected.
What is HD 1.5
Contains ammunition which although potentially mass explosive, very insensitive.
What is HD 1.6
Contains extremely insensitive articles which do not present a mass detonation hazard
What is cg a
Primary explosive substance
What is CG B
Arrival containing primary explosive not containing two or more protective features. E.g dets
What is CG C
Propellant explosive substances or other deflagration explosive substance or artical containing such explosive substances e.g pyrotechnics
Define the term batch
Discrete quantity
