  • Takes out on others, aggression goes from inwards to outwards

  • Humans have nothing useful to attack with (e.g. claws, sharp teeth) which makes it difficult to know when to stop aggression and also means they need weapons to attack with
  • Use of weapons reduces responsibility

  • Social identity is key to remaining a terrorist; similar as to why people remain in gangs
  • May feel that being a terrorist is all they know, all they know how to be, wouldn’t know what else to do do, etc
