Pseudophakic eye= eye had catarcact extract an lens implant. (on anterior chamber of eye)
Aphakic eye= cataract extract but no lens implant

what is the difference between Referral vs. Consult?

A

Refer to another doctor care to treat something found. Patient not referred back to you.= REFERRAL
Consult is when you send patient for another doctor to take a further look at what you found. PATIENT COMES BACK TO YOU AFTER.

Diabetic retinopathy= effect kidneys, damage to retina, tingle to feet, etc. will mirror what is going on in kidneys. If retina looks sick then kidney is sick.
