What is tequila
A magical spirit made from the blue agave plant
How is tequila made
1 blue agave matures for 7-10 years
2 agave is harvested by Jimadores
3 agaves pinas are roasted in autoclaves
4 then roasted agaves are milled and mixed with water
5 then the aguamiel ferments in tanks
6 liquid is then distilled in yielding ordinario
7 ordinario is distilled to make tequilla
8 Repo and Anejos are distilled in oak (repo for 2mo- less than 12 mo, anejo is for at least 1 year)
9 Finsihed product is bottled
