A
One event interrupted by other

A
Same as past or current action ongoing into the future

A
- Started before current time and continues into the future
- Started before and effect still remains
- Indefinite - Indefinite time in the past. Ex - Amy has seen most of europe
Whenever you see since/within in context of time - present perfect

Past perfect
A
Shows sequencing of 2 related events. Had used with the first event
Before/After - optional
Point in time can also be an event. Ex - by 1973, x had happened

A
later event with simple future/present
Ex - By the time sam gets home, Mary will have prepared dinner
