Maintain control of apt door by leaving member of inside team inside the apt at door
Inform IC and engine officer location of fire apt and when you enter to,search for location of fire
Need to control flow paths until a charged line is advancing into the fire area extinguishing fire
Communicate the location of the fire ,fire conditions or difficulty finding the fire to IC OR ENGINE OFFICER
First LCC at OLT

Notify officer of intended destination when leaving primary position
Position apparatus for complete coverage and immediate use..if cannot inform IC and OFFICER
Fire apt and fire escape in front LCC and OVM work together to VEIS fire apt
A situation may arise is obvious need to use the aerial for the roof ff but at the same time there is an apparent need to remove a occupant .. What factors will help you reach a decision as to initial use
- Emotional state of occupant
- Fire/smoke in the immediate vicinity of the occupant
- Location and severity of fire
- Time element
