Q

what are the 5 stages of a sacrifice

A
  1. A Roman would agree a time with the priest.
  2. the Roman would then select the finest animal from the market, the animal was then decorated.
  3. there would be a parade through the streets.
  4. The Preist would wash his hands and say a prayer as the animals head was sprinkled with wine.
  5. The Popa would knock the animal out, then the Cultraririus would cut the animal’s throat with a knife.

the animal would then be gutted whilst a flute plays, the innards are then burnt and the meat cooked and given to the crowd.
