Tech-savvy (noun)
Knowing a lot about computers/technology
Ex: He is a tech-savvy
Technophobe (noun)
Someone afraid of technology
Ex: He is a technophobe
Technology (noun)
The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes.
Ex: Together, these technologies are set to revolutionise the way we watch television.
Tip: use “the” in phrases “technology of…”. Don’t use “the” in phrases “technology” + verb
Cutting-edge (noun/adjective)
Lead, forefront
Ex: Robotic teachers are cutting-edge technology
State-of-the-art (adjective)
Most recent, the best. Similar to cutting-edge.
Ex: iPhone 7 is state-of-the-art technology
The latest (adjective)
The newest
Compact (adjective)
Small
User-friendly (adjective)
Easy to use
Ex: Facebook is very user-friendly
Obsolete (adjective)
No longer used
Outdated (adjective)
Very old, obsolete
Ex: outdated equipment
Bulky (adjective)
Massive, clumsy. Opposite of compact.
Glitch (noun)
A defect, problem, error.
Ex: The quizzes of EngVid had some glitches a couple of days ago.
