Technology over the past two decades
New forms of interaction between teacher and students as well as amongst students are possible with computer – and Internet – base technologies. These include increasing access to educational programs, courses, and materials for students and areas far from main program locations, allowing time – shifted or time – delayed communication between a teacher, and one or more students, and expanding both student – directed learning, and collaborative, learning amongst students.
