Ex- a writing on the internet could reach a vast audience than a newspaper

Contains a main idea and supporting facts
Objective is to inform about something or expose the truth about something with evidence
Written in a specific order clearly

A writing which requires a complex language to analyze discuss and resolve controversies in a clear convincing considerate point of view
