Tell me about a time when you had to work with someone completely different from you. How did you adapt to collaborate better?
Teammate who isn’t new to the team, but for every task that he wasn’t familar with, to understand the entire task through a call by line by line item on an excel vs. reading documentation and past working papers. I’ve adapted to take the call and summarize everything and reiterate there are procedures in various documents. Find common ground. Suggested whether documentation or another method of training can improve.
What do you do when your team member refuses to, or just can’t complete their part of the work? Give me an example.

Breakdown tasks and go through procedures, and depending on the person’s personality, have them take a look and ask further questionis from there, or hold their hand to go through every detail.
