Why did Jesus use children as an example of faith?

A

Used as a model because they are trusting and innocent
Adults can be clinical and lack faith, this will prevent them in growing loser to the kingdom
Children are good learners and have natural enthusiasm unlike adults.
Jesus encourages people to have child like openness towards the gift of the kingdom
Children where looked down upon in jewish society; Jesus uses them as a model to highlight the kingdom of god is for all
