Submission
Muslims base all their behaviour on pleasing Allah, submitting to his will. Submission is the central paradigm of Islam and adherents live their lives in complete supplication and devotion towards Allah in order to reach Jannah.
Jihad
The peace teaching of Jihad refers to the struggling against evil. Struggle against evil and sin within oneself. (Greater Jihad and inner peace) Struggle against evil and sin in the world. (lesser Jihad world peace)
Universal Brotherhood
Respecting all as they are Allah’s Crowning Glory and treating everyone as brothers Inspires a sense of universal brotherhood. This promotes unity, peace and communal devotion under Allah. Through the unification of umma. This centralises devotion to Allah in the community, showing unity in their diversity.
Agape
Agape love is a response to God’s love for all. It is selfless love of God and neighbour that shows empathy and is intended for everyone.
Forgiveness
Forgiveness is another central tenet of Christianity. Forgiveness promotes peace as it guides adherents to rebuild connections of friendship with those who have wronged them, this gives inner satisfaction to individuals and builds a harmonious community.
