Pressing left or right collective AFCS (trim beeper) switch will put the A/C in a standard rate turn (3*/Sec), provided FD is de-coupled from HDG HOLD (HDG or COURSE not ENG/CAP)

Up or down adjustment with the collectic trim beeper will re-reference new altitude.

What happens when the Emergency Control Panel, COM GUARD \ NORM switch is placed into the guard position?
