Instructor is responsible for training students to acceptable standards. Standards should follow PTS. PTS is a testing document NOT a teaching document.

Unfamiliar feelings/ sensations such as G-Forces, vibrations, noises. These obstacles can be overcome by understanding what causes them. A sick student does not learn well.

Instructor must constantly evaluate student performance. Evaluation can occur in many ways during a lesson.
Instructor must share evaluation with student.
Instructor is ultimately responsible for student safety.
Instructor must be absolutely sure that the student is ready for solo before the student is allowed to solo.

Don’t always immediately take the controls from students when they make a mistake. Hard for student to learn maneuver correctly if instructor seldom gives opportunity to correct error.
Aviation Instructors and Exams:
Instructor is responsible for student deficiencies on practical test.
Instructor endorses student, instructor is responsible for students safety
Instructor who recommends applicant for knowledge test or practical is attesting he/she has provides required training and feels the applicant capable of passing the practical test.
