- description of your invention or development that is provided to the university

Why should I submit an IP disclosure?
A
- could lead to commercialisation, legal protection, identify outside development partners, obligations and reporting requirements if industry funds was used

How do I know if my discovery is an invention? Should I be submitting an IP disclosure?
A
- encouraged to submit IP disclosure for all developments that may solve a significant problem and have commercial value

When should I complete an IP disclosure?
A
- whenever you feel you have discovered something unique with possible commercial value
- before presenting discovery through publications, poster sessions, conferences, press releases etc.
