A
Tests for statistical difference between a sample mean and a known or hypothesized value of the mean in the population

What are the steps in a t test?
A
- calculate t value through formulab(work bottom to top)
- Calculate degrees of freedom
- Use t distribution to find sig value using DF value and your chosen significance
- Compare t statistics with sig value given on table
