What is a gui?
Graphical user interface. A user interacts with the computer through menus, icons and buttons.
What is a command line interface?
The user interacts with the computer by typing in commands for the computer to follow
What is the advantage of a gui?
It is easier for the user to use it if they have never used it before
What id the disadvantage of a gui?
You are often limited by what you can do
What is the advantage of a command line interface?
You have the freedom to do what you want (assuming there’s no user restrictions)
What is the disadvantage of a command line interface?
You need to learn the commands to use the computer effectively
