How many times does the word “system” appear in the NWT?
The word system is used 30 times in the NWT, 28 times in the Greek Scriptures, and twice in the Hebrew Scriptures. (adjust these numbers for newer versions of NWT)
Greek Scriptures
(Matthew 12:32) 32 For example, whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this SYSTEM of things nor in that to come.
(Matthew 13:22, 23) 22 As for the one sown among the thorns, this is the one hearing the word, but the anxiety of this SYSTEM of things and the deceptive power of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 . . .
