Second-Person Point Of View
A point of view where the narrator tells the story to another character using the word “you”
First-Person Point Of View
The narrator is a person in the story, telling the story from their own point of view

The narrator exists outside the events of the story, and relates the actions of the characters be referring to their names or by the third-person pronouns he, she, or they
Omniscient
When a character narrator know what every character thinks and feels
Limited Omniscient Narrators
Only know and relate what one major or minor character thinks and feels
Omniscient Narrator
Shares what all characters think and feel instead of limiting the narrator’s perspective to just one character
Symbols
Objects, places, events, or characters that have meaning and significance beyond their physical forms
Allegory
A story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one
Archetypes
A recurrent symbol or motif in literature, art, or mythology
