What is the hierarchy of risk control
- Elimination
- Substitution (e.g. replace materials for less hazardous pre fab)
- Engineering controls (e.g. fall arrest)
- Admin control (e.g. limit the need to work alone)

What is meant by dynamic risk assessment?
Constantly assessing risk of activities, even right before commencing work and even during the activity to ensure H&S of individuals

A way to quantify the likelihood and severity of a risk, allowing a considered approach regarding future actions
What are things to consider in the workplace regarding employee comfort/health
- adequate toilets
- fresh air
- natural light or artificial that isn’t too bright
- reducing glare
- adequate emergency arrangements
