- Prevent the risk from occurring
- Provide staff with relevant training

Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulation 2013

What must be reported to the HSE under RIDDOR
A
- Death
- Specified Injuries
- 7-day incapacitation of a worker (excl weekends/leave)
- Accident to the public

What are some specified injuries under RIDDOR
A
As listed under regulation 4:
- Fractures
- Amputations
- Blinding/sight reduction
- Serious burns to 10% of the body
etc.
