Supracolic Organs Flashcards
What are extraperitoneal, intraperitoneal and retroperitoneal organs?
Extraperitoneal- organs are outside the peritoneal sac
Intraperitoneal-organs are inside the peritoneal organs
Retroperitoneal-behind the peritoneum
Position of the liver?
Lies predominantly epigastric and right hypochondriac and extends the left hypochondriac
