there are two columns , one for first preference , one for second , put a cross next to first preference in first column and cross next to second preference in second column

top two candidates go through to the second round , all others are eliminated , second preference votes for those who got eliminated are added to the two remaining candidates , candidate with most votes wins , as there are only 2 of them one must have over 50%

nowhere in uk but was used in london mayoral elections until 2022
