Worker no longer identifies with work,workplaces or leader. Doesn’t perform at his best .
3.Work improvishment takes place.
No responsibility which means no achievements work becomes meaningless
4.Rising cost opposed to lower costs
Irrespective of salary increase worker performance still weaker, frustration and dissatisfaction increase .
5.Higher personnel turnover
people get frustrated therefore the resign . Recruit employee train new person .
6.Desicon making time lengthens
Leader wanted to make of the deciosns . Can’t get all necessary info to working level .
Characteristics of a natural leader (6)
Emphasizes technical work Centralizes desicon making. Communicates one way. Takes intuitive action. Organizes in terms of personalities . Controls by inspection
Characteristics of a scientific leader .
1.Specializes in management work
Management realizes that his work is to obtain results through and with others.
2. Decentralizes authority
Distinguishes between descions his must make himself and aspects which subordinates can make .
3.Acts logically
Management leader aimed at actual problems not apparent problems
4. Promotion of group interest
Obtains best results when he assists the group with the attainment of personal goals and objectives
5. Maintains effective communication
Knows how to make himself understood and ability to listen .
Controls by means of inspection
Leader sets distinct standards so that the teams know what is expected of them and judge themselves weather they obtain desired results or not
6.Organizes rationally
Work that is classified which must be logically done
