Insertion: Cranial part of the deltoid tuberosity.
Ascending pectoral
Origin: Caudal border of each rib.
Insertion: Cranial border of the rib behind the rib of insertion.
Intercostals
Origin: Thoracolumbar fascia
Insertion: Tuber costae, ilium and pre pubic tendon.
