what is the difference b/w static and dynamic risk factors?
A
STATIC: cant change eg. genetics, personality type, past environment (trauma)
DYNAMIC: can change eg. mental state, situational environment (job, r/ship, money)

- suicide intent
- degree of planning involved
- availability + ease of access to means

A
ASK: are you thinking of suicide? plan? means?
SLAP..... Specific (how specific is the plan?) Lethality (means) Availability (of means) Proximity (of help)
