A

succession on newly formed land. starts when species colonise a new land surface

what are pioneer species?

A

first species which colonise the area after primary succession. only pioneer species can grow here as abiotic conditions are harsh and these species are adapted to these.

A

die and microorganisms decompose dead organic material which forms soil. conditions become less hostile
