Worldview
A way of looking at life/world around us. framework for thinking and decision making.
Critical Thinking
recognizing/evaluating opinions and so-called evidence. reflecting on meaning and significance of statements and ideas. It tests the reasonableness of statements/ideas.
Absolute truth: What is it?
Something that is true at all times in all places.

Theocentric
The existence of god us center of all values, thinking and decision making.
Redemption
Paying the necessary price to purchase another’s freedom.

Sanctification
Setting something apart from common use for exclusive use in the service of God (Apart from the world and unto God) 1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
Justification
Declaring someone free from guilt in a court of law. Declaring someone to be righteous or holy. Act 13:39, Romans 3:24.
Grace
by grace you have been saved (Ephesians 2:8)
the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Repentance
central to the teachings of jesus christ. (Mark 1:15, Luke 5:32, Luke 13:3, Luke 24:46-47.)
Repentance is the activity of reviewing one’s actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs. It generally involves a commitment to personal change and the resolve to live a more responsible and humane life.
Atheism
atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist. Atheism is contrasted with theism, which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists.
Pantheism
God and the world are the same thing.

Natural Revelation
in a general way God has revealed, and continues to reveal, his moral will to all mankind.
Proof-Texting
Proof-texting is taking scripture out of context.
Legalism
elevating human preferences to Gods word (distorting salvation.)

there is no meaning, nothingness. there is no God.
The Law of Non-Contradiction
states that something cannot be both true and not true at the same time when dealing with the same context.
Stumbling Block
an action taken by a stronger brother which, though it would ordinarily qualify as a permissible act of freedom, influences a weaker brother to sin against his conscience.
Appeal to Ignorance
Claiming that something is true simply because it cannot be disproved, or that something is untrue because it cannot be proved.
Hasty Conclusion
- Making a judgment on the basis of one or even a few samples.
