Q

What was the Pavlov’a dogs study?

A

Pavlov believed in classical conditioning, that behaviours can be learned through the association of different stimuli. Associating an unconditioned stimulus that already brings about a particular response with a new conditioned stimulus, so that the new stimulus brings out the same response. He performed this with dogs, when they see food, they salivated. Every time the food was there, Pavlov would ring a bell so that by the end of the experiment, the sound of the bell was solely enough to make the dogs salivate.
