A nematode called strongyloides stercoralis.

How is it transmitted?
A
Through direct pentration of the human skin by infective larvae when in contact with soil.
*walking barefront is a risk of infection
*autoinfection

What are the symptoms?
A
abdominal pain, bloating, heartburn, intermittent episodes of diarrhea and constipation, a dry cough, and skin rashes.

What is the treatment?
A
benzimidazoles (albendazole and thiabendazole), ivermectin
