how do you differentiate S. vulgaris, S. edentis, S. equinus
S. vulgaris = mickey mouse teeth, smallest (2cm)
S. edentus = no teeth, D gutter (line)
S. equinus = smaller teeth

not path on own, but worsen damage of other parasites

how can you ID the different staged larvae?
1st stage = longtail
3rd stage = infective - retains 2nd stage cuticle
how large are small strongyle and large strongyle
small = 1.5cm large = 2cm (vulgaris), edentus and equinus are same size (2.5-5cm)
