- Assess using MASS
- Appropriate hospital destination

Seizure

Hypo/Hyperglycaemia

Inner ear disorder (Vertigo)

Multiple Sclerosis

Electrolyte Disturbance
ICH is more likely when (4Things)
- Rapid deterioration in conscious state GCS<8
- Complaint of severe headache
- Nausea/vomiting
- Bradycardia/hypertension
Awake Suspected ICH patients should be transported to?
- Nearest Stroke Hospital
Comatosed patients with a suspected ICH should be transported to ?
- Neurosurgical Centre
What is the Thromolysis timeframe?
- Up to 12 hours
ECR timeframe in strokes is what time?
- Up to 24hours
A patient that is
- MASS positive after 12hours AND
- ACT-FAST negative OR
- Suspected TIA
Mx includes?
- Transport to the closest thrombolysing stroke centre
A patient that is
- MASS positive within 12hours AND
- ACT-FAST negative
Mx includes?
- IV access: 18g veing with reflux valvle
- Tx to nearest Thrombolysing stroke centre
- Consider R/V with MSU
- Pre-notify hospital with Name, DoB, clinical details
A patient that is
- MASS positive <24hours AND
- ACT-FAST positive at time of loading
Mx Includes?
- IV Access: 18g in large vein with reflux valve
- R/V with MSU OR transport urgently to ECR centre if Tx time equivalent to a thrombolysing stroke centre
- Pre-notify
