ACA stroke
Homonymous hemianopsia

PCA stroke
ONLY Hemiparesis of face arm and leg
Pure motor stroke: lacunar infarct of internal capsule and base of pons
Only sensory loss of face arm and leg
Pure sensory stroke; lacunar infarct to posterolateral thalamus
Contralateral sensory loss of all modalities
Spontaneous pain and dysesthesias
Mild Hemiparesis
Thalamic stroke
Note: may develop thalamic pain syndrome
Hearing loss, facial weakness, ataxia, Horner syndrome
AICA Cerebellar stroke
Lateral medullary or Wallenberg syndrome
PICA/ vertebral artery stroke
Ipsilateral ataxia and scanning speech
Superior Cerebellar artery
Pt had vomiting, seizing, and loss of consciousness
Hemmorhagic stroke
Sudden explosive headache
Photophobia
Loss of consciousness
Seizure
Vomiting
Aneurysm rupture (hemmorage)
