Stressless Flashcards
Why is stressless leather so much better than anything else?
Stressless gets there leather from free roaming cows in Italy that are 3-5 years old. Everyone else harvests the cows for leather at age 1-2 because that is when the cow is full grown so you wouldn’t get anymore leather letting them live longer than 2 years. By letting the cows live longer they experience more of the elements which makes the leather more durable while still keeping it soft.
Why is stressless foam so much better than anything else?
Most high end furniture has cushion density of 1.5-2.0, stressless density is a whopping 3.8. So double the density of its competitors. Most furniture stores buy their foam from 1 of 2 foam factories in the unites states. Stressless is the only furniture company that makes their foam in house. They use a process called cold cure to create their foam. Regular foam comes from pouring a liquid in a tub then heat it up. When you heat it the liquid expands and creates air pockets. Cold cure foam does the exact thing except they don’t heat it up, they let it sit in the tub for months at a time, which creates way less air pockets. That’s why stressless foam is so much softer and more durable than anyone else. My boss who has worked here for forever said he has never seen someone have to use the cushion warranty for stressless.
How long does stressless last?
So most recliners and couches last 4-7 years. And after the 4-7 years you couldn’t get a single penny of your money back from reselling it. Stressless is air loom quality meaning it will last you your whole life. Because they last so long they hold their value better than any other furniture in the world. If you bought this stressless chair today and had to move and sell it in 7 years, you would be able to get most of your money back. Which is unbelievable because furniture is supposed to go down in value faster than cars or any other depreciating asset in the world.
Does stressless quality control?
Most furniture companies will only quality control 1 out of every 500 or 1,000 pieces of furniture. Stressless quality controls every single piece of furniture that they sell.
What type of steel does stressless use?
So every other furniture manufacture heats their steel up to form it into the shape they need which makes the steel more brittle. Stressless uses a process called cold rolling. Which means they bend their steel without heating it up, which takes a lot longer and is way more work to do. But by doing this they are using the second strongest steel in the entire world. You could throw this chair off a balcony and it wouldn’t brake. It’s crazy to think about but the weakest thing on this chair is its solid hard wood.
Do doctors recommend stressless?
Yes about half of the people who come in for stressless are from doctors recommending it. It’s the only chair in the world that has been accredited by the ACA(American chiropractor association) for back and joint pain.
Repeat buyer word track
I tell people once you go stressless you will never go back 2 normal furniture. It’s in a different league, you can’t compare it to anything else. 75% of people who come in for stressless are repeat buyers. People swear by them.
