How you react when you feel under pressure or threatened
Occurs in situation where you feel you cannot mange or control
What are the types of stress
Acute- happens shortly after an event , lasts for short period of time but can be upsetting
Chronic - lasts for a long period of time or keeps returning . Experienced if under pressure all the time
Stress not mental health problem
