What is the process for stratified
The target group is divided into subgroups. The the participants are selected randomly from this eg-age
What’s the first stage of this
Identify target population
What’s the second stage of this
Indenting the subgroups within the target population
What’s the 3rd stage (grouping)
Sort out the proportion of people in each subgroup
What’s the 4th stage
Calculate the number of people being taken from each subgroup
What will the researcher do after this (ethics)
The researcher randomly selects from each sub group
He will ask if they want to participate
What’s an advantage
All groups will be represented
What’s some weaknesses
Difficult for the researcher- a lot of work
Costs more- money/time
It may not be representative of that subgroup
