Stockyard to surge bins Flashcards

1
Q

Three conveyors run along the northern end of the stockyard, what are they called?

A

L1, L2 and L11.
The conveyers accept coal from yard conveyors R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8. This offers not only the ability to convey coal from any stockpile on either conveyor, but also the ability to use L1, L2, or L11 as required if a breakdown occurs at points ‘downstream’.
